WELCOME TO SCREEN-TIME

There are so many things to do that have nothing to do with a "screen" and they really can be fun!  Please join us for our national Scavenger Hunt on April 26th, based on a soon to be determined children's book (maybe you have a suggestion?), or our poster and essay contests?  The 2009 theme will be "Unplugged and Ready to..."

We hope you will lead your class in Turnoff Week 2009 (April 20-26 and September 20-26) and get your parents to do it as well.  We think it is harder for parents to turnoff all the electronic stuff than it is for kids, what do you think?  With TWO Turnoff Weeks in 2009, give us your thoughts on the different things you (and we) can do in the spring and fall.  Have you ever made a BIG pile of leaves and jumped in?  This might be a good thing to try this coming Turnoff (September 21-27, 2008).
